Aman Hotel Sveti Stefan Villa Milocer

Hotel description

Aman Sveti Stefan’s Villa Miločer lies south of Budva, a metropolis of Montenegrin tourism, and between the coastal villages of Przno and Sveti Stefan. The resort is a 30-minute drive from Tivat Airport and just over an hour’s drive away from Podgorica Airport. Dubrovnik Airport in Čilipi, Croatia, is a 2.5-hour drive away. Complimentary transfers are provided to and from Tivat and Podgorica Airports, while transfers to and from Dubrovnik Airport are charged accordingly. In a country famed for its beauty, the most iconic images associated with Montenegro are of the tiny islet named Sveti Stefan overlooked by Villa Miločer, a graceful stone manse set on a pink sand beach. The former summer residence of Queen Marija Karađorđević, Villa Miločer is phase one of Aman Sveti Stefan, completed in late 2008. Surrounded by more than 800 olive trees, the manse resides on a 32-hectare estate, embraced on three sides by ancient cedar and pine forests. Attached to the coast by a narrow isthmus, the island of Sveti Stefan across the bay was once a fortified fishing village, dating back to the 15th century. Today, the island is undergoing an exciting transition to become the second phase of Aman Sveti Stefan, which will retain the island’s historic air and cluster of sturdy stone buildings with red tiled roofs, cheerful amongst hardy evergreen trees. Located in the centre of Montenegro’s Adriatic coastline, Aman Sveti Stefan’s Villa Miločer is the ideal base for travelers wishing to explore the natural and historic wonders of this fascinating country, or to simply enjoy the pleasures of sun, sea and sand.

Aman Sveti Stefan’s Villa Miločer was launched in late 2008 as the first phase of Aman Sveti Stefan. Now restored in an harmonious blend of old European grandeur and contemporary style paying homage to the region’s incredible past, the villa is an eight-suite haven providing a peaceful retreat in exceptionally beautiful surrounds. The resort will also incorporate the historic 15th century island of Sveti Stefan in the near future. When phase two is completed, 47 additional suites will be available on the island, along with a unique collection of dining, entertainment and wellness venues. At Aman Sveti Stefan’s Villa Miločer, the Dining Room, Loggia and Living Room offer simple, elegant menus driven by fresh produce in local markets and locally-caught seafood. The Dining Room is an intimate seven-table dining space with a large open fireplace and contemporary furniture complemented by hand-loomed woolen rugs and Italian linen. Loggia features a wisteria-covered colonnade providing a shady summer retreat. Large day beds placed beneath the colonnade offer the perfect spot for taking in the breathtaking views of Sveti Stefan across the bay. Both the Dining Room and Loggia are located on the ground floor of Aman Sveti Stefan’s Villa Miločer, and are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The spacious Living Room of Aman Sveti Stefan’s Villa Miločer provides access to the Miločer gardens and beach. The Living Room includes a lounge with large picture windows framing the view, where guests may enjoy afternoon tea and evening cocktails. Aman Sveti Stefan’s Villa Miločer houses a spacious library offering a wide selection of books in several languages. Wireless Internet access is available. Aman Sveti Stefan’s Villa Miločer offers eight spacious suites which elegantly combine the regal grandeur of old Europe with contemporary comfort and style. Parquet floors are warmed by woollen rugs and a fireplace takes centre stage in each suite. Leather chairs and silk accents bring a touch of intimacy and brightness to the living quarters, while bathrooms feature parquet and antique stone floors, free-standing bathtubs and timber wardrobes. All of the suites have wireless internet and Juliet balconies with views out over the sea towards the island of Sveti Stefan or over the gardens.
